BIOGRAPHY
One of the Guardians of the 9 fountains, Qawi is perhaps the wisest of them all. When a great empire was built around the temple that shrouded the fountain, the alligator used it's boons to become a mighty warrior queen to fend off all invaders. She was so large and muscular that at the time she was often mistaken for a king. She learned to use these interchangeably and came up with a more fitting title, Pharoh. As Pharoh of Egypt, Qawi reigned for an unspecified amount of time, deified as a living embodiment of the Nile god Sobek. She did not really care for power or strength, so long as the fountain was safe. To this end she protected the kingdoms of Egypt and the shrine until it was no longer necessitated.
Following this not much is known about the path Qawi took, she at some point passed down the lineage of Pharoh to an enormous hippo to learn more about the world surrounding her. This trek would take her to every country on the globe over millennia, being confused for a dragon in the Middle Ages and a monster in a Loch in Scotland by the 1900s while taking a simple bath for her empowering figure.
Able stay at a reasonably normal size, she blended well with local populaces and culture before finally meeting Kubwa in the 21st Century. The two became fast friends, with the former Guardian assisting the giraffe CEO in locating the fabled source of growth. They both agreed to hide it away, sealing the entrance and only leaving a breadcrumb trail which the most dedicated of souls could find.
A distinct anger arises in the cold-blooded reptile whenever she sees the weak preyed on by the strong, evident in her newly found hobby of shrinking bullies down to whelps, all while absorbing their power into her own mass. Just apologise next time.
